Well you can depend on your photographic memory.
When I do that i find that i forgot to take the lens cap off.
Line 'em up and have the player present you the pass.
Then inspect the equipment, a brief talk
i.e."Don't jump, don't slide tackle from behind
and don't SCREW with me on free kicks!"
I like to take a LONG pause just before the last phrase
and make a long slow pan and get eye contact with every single player.
People that flunk the hearing test, get examined for colorblindness.
