Play 1: No action. The first kick back, as you noted, was not a deliberate pass back to the keeper, ergo no reason for the keeper not to handle it. Play 2: A strict application of the rules would require an IFK for the attackers from the 6, and as several posters have argued in other situations, sometimes enforcing the rules strictly and letting the players learn from the consequences is the best form of teaching. Still, given what you have said about the overall level of the play and the experience of the keeper, it would strike me as pretty heartless to do anything but let them play on. Jay Harlow
