Of course you get the most off-the-wall questions when you teach clinics. Here is an interesting one. According to Law 11 "There is no offside offence if a player receives the ball DIRECTLY from a Goal Kick, a Throw-in or a Corner Kick" The emphasis on Directly is mine. The question asked was "What if a player takes a throw-in. The ball deflects off of an opponent to a player in an offside position" It was not direct and the opponent did not play the ball, so should you call the off-side? I know what I answered, but would like to hear what the list has to say Glenn S.
