Sometimes there really is a wolf! But, someone gets eaten when trust is
lost.
Isn't this the real world cost for diving - - - that referees set a higher
level of certainty before calling penalty kick for players who sometimes dive
and a lesser level of certainty with players who always stay on their feet?
Economists would love the self-correcting notion that cheaters never prosper,
yet a cheating defender has.
If there had been an additional assistant referee near the goal line, would
the penalty have been awarded?
