REFEREE ASSAULT! Period. Technically, violent conduct because the ball is out of play and it is not directed at a player. So he is disqualified for VC but also reported for assault to both the state federation and the local police department. -----Original Message----- From: Morten Mikkelsen <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] Sent: Fri, Oct 29, 2010 7:17 pm Subject: What's the official reason for the disqualification? NFHS rules, player is being shown 2nd yellow card and during this process but before being show red and yellow together to indicated a 'soft red'), he player attempts to slap the yellow card out of the hand of the official nd makes contact with the yellow card. The official then shows a 'hard red' red card only) and the player is disqualified from the game and the team lays short. What is the official reason for the disqualification? Taunting? iolent conduct? sing an offensive, insulting or abusive gesture? omething else? -- orten Mikkelsen
